Secondary analysis of the TRAIN RCT: in 144 anemic ICU patients with spontaneous ICH, a liberal transfusion strategy (Hb <9 g/dL) showed a nonsignificant 13-point absolute reduction in unfavorable 180-day GOS-E versus restrictive (Hb <7 g/dL).
